Common Names: Bishop’s weed
Plant Form: Erect to spreading herb. Size: Up to 75 cm tall. Stem: Smooth, grooved, branching. Leaves: Large and broad lower down, becoming much finer and more divided higher up. Flowers: Large circular clusters of small whitish flowers on stalks, typical carrot family (Apiaceae) flowers. Fruit and Seeds: Oblong to oval-shaped. With prominent ribs. Habitat: Disturbed areas, pastures, wetlands, arid areas, old gardens. Distinguishing Features: Broad leaves of lower sections graduating to narrow divided leaves distinguish from others in carrot family (Apiaceae).
