Common Names: Poison ivy

Plant Form: Deciduous vine or shrub. Size: Growing to 1.2 m tall, or climbing to 15 m high. Stem: Greenish and densely hairy when young, becoming woody with age. Leaves: Egg-shaped leaflets in groups of 3 or sometimes 5, occasionally deeply lobed. May have coarse or no teeth along edges. 7-40 cm long. Flowers: Small, 2-5 mm diameter, yellowish green with 5 petals, in clusters on loosely branching stalks. Fruit and Seeds: Berry-like creamy white to brown, up to 4 mm diameter. Contain a single greyish striped seed. Habitat: Old gardens, gullies, pastures.
