Common Names: Twiggy turnip

Plant Form: Biennial or perennial rosette herb. Size: Up to 50 cm tall. Leaves: Up to 15 cm long at base but smaller and narrower higher up. With 2-3 pairs of lobes, larger towards end. Flowers: Flowers Typical Brassicaceae family flowers, pale yellow with 4 petals in cluster which are all at same level. Fruit and Seeds: Pod with constrictions between seeds and a beak at the end. Habitat: Wasteland, disturbed areas, riparian areas, urban areas, roadsides. Distinguishing Features: Narrow pods with constrictions and the location may help to distinguish from other Mustard (Brassicaceae) species but can be difficult.
